Garden District Home

This home is situated in the historic Garden District of Baton Rouge. Updating the kitchen from a two island layout to a one island layout created a more workable, welcoming space. Beams were add to the existing living area to to tie into to the exterior architecture elements. An HVAC soffit presented a challenge especially with lighting, we had to be creative in the lighting layout to use it to our advantage. A drop-down over the island was installed to allow lighting to be hung at the correct heights. Top of the line appliances and cabinetry make this kitchen a dream for any cook!
