These clients found their forever home but now that they are getting older, they needed some help transforming their space into one that is mindful of aging in place practices. Originally, the master suite was located upstairs, so we decided to bring it downstairs closer to their day to day activities. We were able to take the existing guest room, turn that into the master bedroom and added on the master bathroom and closets. We added a beautiful curbless shower and a separate decked tub which the clients really wanted which are better features for aging in place. Based on an inspiration photo the client found, we decided to choose a decorative backsplash tile to serve as a focal point on the room. The countertops nicely correlated with the focal tile without taking away from it. We also used the marble countertop in the deck tub and shower seat which tied the space together perfectly. Now, these clients have a timeless space that they will be able to enjoy for many years to come!
